Retrieve information from Sample
Retrieve information from Sample¶
With the Retrieve from Sample button on the Experimental Condition page, you can copy the data associated to your plates in Sample to Assay.
The following information can be retrieved from Sample and copied to those Assay objects:
| Sample | Assay |
|---|---|
| Batch name & alias | Sample name & alias |
| Parent batch name & alias | Sample name & alias |
| Batch name & Parent batch name | Sample name & alias |
| Concentration | Dose |
| Solvent | Experimental Condition |
| Molecular Weight | Molecular Weight |
| Sample Annotation | Experimental Condition |
If an information you want to retrieve is missing:
- Your plates may not be registered in Sample. Verify the barcode is registered in both Sample and Assay.
- Your plates may not have the information registered in Sample. Check your plate in Sample.
For Solvent and Annotations linked to your plates in Sample, you can register them in your custom Experimental Conditions.
Once you retrieved information from Sample, if your current run becomes a template, the child runs (Design from Template and Execution runs) will automatically retrieve the information at the Plate Mapping step.
