Sample offers an easy way to register plates, vials and racks through several workflows. End-users are guided all along the process to register their items.

Workflows

Plate Creation

This workflow allows you to manually create one or more plates by selecting its characteristics (format, plate type, and usage), and adding the informations to the wells (such as batch, doses, solvent).

Registrations from File

Sample allows you to register plates, racks, or vials by uploading a file containing their attributes and contents. By default, use the File Mapper to upload any delimited file (CSV or TXT) and match its columns to their Sample equivalents. If you have access to other parsers, you may select the one that matches your file format.

This comprehensive workflow covers three types of registration:

  • Vial Registration - Register individual vials
  • Plate Registration - Register 96-well plates
  • Rack Registration - Register racks containing multiple vials
