Move & Dispose Rack

The Move & Dispose Rack utility workflow in Sample enables you to efficiently manage your laboratory inventory by moving racks to new locations or marking them for disposal. This helps keep storage areas organized and ensures that racks no longer needed for experiments are properly tracked and removed from active use.

When you dispose of a rack using this workflow, it is transferred to a designated garbage location. The barcode of a disposed rack cannot be reused in future jobs, nor can a new rack be registered with the same barcode. This ensures the integrity and traceability of your inventory records.
