Run Details

In this section, you will create a new run by defining the key information associated with it.

The purpose of a design run is to configure all parameters that the run will follow. In Execution Mode, these configurations are applied automatically, streamlining the process.

A run can also be created automatically using APIs. Please request the API documentation if needed.

Create a New Run

To create a new run, go to the Assay home page and click the New Run button at the top right.

A modal will appear, allowing you to set up your run.

Run Details page

Enter or select the following information:

  • Run Name: The name of your analysis
  • Description: A description of your analysis (optional)
  • Mode: Design (for a step-by-step run)
  • Plate Format: The format of the plates used in your analysis
  • Campaign (optional): Attach your run to a specific campaign if desired

Click the Create button to create your run. You will be redirected to the Run Details page.

Run Details

As explained in the main Assay documentation, the Run Details page is the central hub for your run.

On this page, you can update run information and navigate through your run. You may also attach relevant documents in the "Additional Files" section at the bottom.

As long as the run is not locked, all of this information can be updated.

Click the File Reading button to begin your analysis by adding raw data to the application.
